Job summary

Shining3D Technology GmbH in Stuttgart seeks an Intern or Working Student to support 3D scanner testing, calibration and pre-shipment quality inspection. You will assist in warm-up, scanning, data collection, accuracy calculations and documentation, ensuring devices meet internal quality standards.

The role requires close cooperation with sales, logistics and technical service teams to guarantee testing, documentation and shipment readiness for each device.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate in mechanical engineering, metrology, automation, optical engineering, industrial engineering, 3D technology or a related field.
• Careful, responsible and detail-oriented working attitude.
• Willingness to follow standard operating procedures precisely.
• Interest in 3D scanning, measurement technology and industrial equipment.
• Basic computer skills for data collection and documentation.
• Good communication skills in English; German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Previous experience in equipment testing, quality inspection, lab work or data processing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform device warm-up, scanning and data collection according to standard procedures.
• Assist with accuracy calculation and test result documentation.
• Support pre-shipment inspection, including device function check, appearance check and accessory verification.
• Assist with packing, labeling and logistics handover preparation.
• Support annual recalibration processes for metrology-grade 3D scanners returned by customers.
• Maintain test records, checklists and calibration-related documentation.
• Keep the testing area, tools and equipment organized.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics and technical teams when needed.

Intern / Working Student(w/m/d) - 3D Scanner Testing & Calibration Assistant

Shining3D Technology GmbH is looking for an intern or working student to support our local 3D scanner testing, calibration and pre-shipment quality inspection work in Stuttgart.

The intern will assist with the standard testing workflow for 3D scanning devices, including device warm-up, scanning, data collection, accuracy calculation, documentation, functional checks, accessory checks, packaging inspection and shipment preparation.

The position will support the testing and calibration work. The role requires close cooperation with sales, logistics and technical service teams to ensure that devices are tested, documented and prepared for shipment according to internal quality standards.
