Test Manager (m/f/d)
In your role as Test Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for supporting the development of a test organization with the efficient use of all available resources.
Your tasks
- Manage a verification team
- Distribute tasks to internal and external teams and coordinate their work
- Present reports to management (PPM, Stream Leads, Global Project Manager). Address critical questions regarding schedules and budgets. Explain and defend the chosen strategy.
- Develop strategies for efficient testing in high-pressure projects, considering quality and deadline constraints
- Control defined processes and quality gates, considering different process landscapes and cultures, and collaborate on a product
- Train internal and external team members to understand the required processes, requiring in-depth knowledge of processes and tools
- Define metrics for tracking progress
- Support overall defect management processes, including reporting and analysis
- Coordinate closely with stakeholders on project progress and deployment of internal and external personnel
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in a technical or business field or relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in testing embedded software systems
- In-depth knowledge and experience in test management and/or project management
- Basic programming experience
- Knowledge of HIL and SIL
- Experience using Matlab with Simscape or Simulink to support testing activities
- Experience in testing/development of safety-related systems (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262, IEC 62304)
- ISTQB certification is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English; German is an advantage
