Job description
Tasks
- Executing thermal vacuum test campaigns (TVAC) and calibration and characterization campaigns (C&C)
- Maintaining and improving test procedures, performing them and critically evaluating the results
- Analysing and correlating events with potential root causes and developing pragmatic solutions
- Collaborating with project teams to develop efficient test strategies (quality, time, cost)
- Participating in non-conformance management and supporting technical investigations in accordance with internal quality standards
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or embedded systems
- Several years of professional experience in engineering and the aerospace sector
- Experience with space standards (ECSS) and test methods is an advantage
- Strong MS Office skills and confident handling of network management
- Experience with central checkout systems, including SCOS2k databases and CCSDS/PUS standards, is a plus
- Fluent English (min. C1) and good German skills (min. B2) required
- Willingness to work in shifts (early/late/night in a 3–4-week rotation)
- A valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU and a CV in English are mandatory
