Job summary

Teoresi Group in Germany seeks an experienced test engineer for railway projects based in Mannheim and other locations. You will prepare and review type test specifications for trains and lab setups, execute static and dynamic tests, and prepare reports for certification.

Travel up to 50% and collaboration with customers and assessors are part of the role. Fluent German and English are required, with strong teamwork and a proactive, autonomous approach.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of railway vehicle, system, or component testing experience.
• Familiarity with EN railway standards: EN 50126/8/9, EN 50155, EN 50121, EN 61373.
• Experience with test management and requirements tools: DOORS, Polarion, Jira.
• Strong communication and teamwork with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Detail-oriented with traceable test activities and reports.
• Proactive, autonomous and results-driven.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

This position is planned for various locations including Mannheim, Salzgitter, Kassel. Travel may account for up to 50% of the working time.

Your Tasks:

• Prepare and review type test specifications for trains and lab setups.
• Support drafting and reviewing of type test procedures in line with EN standards and customer requirements.
• Execute static and dynamic tests on trains and in lab environments, both on-site and off-site.
