Description

We are developing radar perception AI models that enable radar sensors to understand their environment. Using modern AI-based perception, radar can enhance safety, comfort, and autonomy in passenger cars. As training AI models requires extensive data, data collection is fundamental to our development process.

In this role, you will participate in our AI perception model development by operating our data collection vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with multiple radar, lidar, and camera sensors to gather real-world data. You will gain exposure to sensor setup and data collection strategies that support real-world AI development. You will have the opportunity to influence data collection decisions, data management, and how this data enhances our perception models.

Responsibilities

• Conduct test drives with the vehicle on designated routes in public traffic or test tracks.
• Operate the measurement system to record data.
• Create trip reports and test documentation.
• Monitor the condition of the measurement equipment and vehicle (e.g., data storage, power supply, fuel level).
• Support planning and insights for test drives.

Requirements

• Experience with hardware and software.
• Valid driver's license of class B with extensive driving experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Interest in identifying errors and ensuring smooth measurement processes.
• Reliability, responsibility, and eagerness to learn.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for business trips.
• Preferred: Linux, Git, Bash skills; driver's license of class BE, C1, or C1E.
