Test Developer

(m/f/d)

Type: Hybrid/Full-Time

Level: Mid-Senior

You will make an impact in the following way:

  1. Together with your team, you ensure the quality of the products and constantly improve them.
  2. As part of an agile software development team, you will take care of the expansion of test automation.
  3. You support the developers in the implementation and execution of functional tests.
  4. Define test strategies and test plans.
  5. Design test cases based on user stories and their acceptance criteria.
  6. Develop and are responsible for the conception and execution of explorative, manual tests in sprint.
  7. Continuous expansion of automated regression tests and integration into the Continuous Integration environment are the main focus.

What you will bring:

  1. Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or equivalent.
  2. Experience: You have profound experience in state-of-the-art test methodology and testing framework, implementing automated tests, including unit, functional, and integration tests.
  3. Knowledge and skills: Deep understanding of Layer 2 and 3 routing and switching and very good understanding of data structures and scripting languages, especially Python.
  4. Personality: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a self-motivated and proactive approach to work. You excel as a team player, adapt quickly to changing environments and emerging technologies.
  5. Language proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken) and ability or willingness to work in a German-speaking environment.
