Qualifikationen

• Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Testautomatisierung, idealerweise mit Jest und Cypress.

• We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join our ReactNative Team at BurdaVerlag. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing the test and software quality processes, ensuring the delivery of high-quality apps.
• You will be part of a cross-functional team including developers, designers and product managers.
• Your goal will be to maintain code quality, enhance the production system uptime, and establish effective processes that promote software quality while being user-friendly.
• Design and implement the test and software quality process within the team.
• Write and assist with manual and automated testing.
• Onboard the developers to the testing process and help implement the necessary tooling.
• Support developers in maintaining code quality and ensuring production system uptime.
• Take technical responsibility for maintaining a high technical quality of the platform.

What we would expect from you...

• Proficiency in Web-Test technologies, including Postman, REST API testing, test automation, and familiarity with TDD principles.
• Must have test automation experience (minimum 5 years), ideally with Jest and Cypress.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Previous experience working in agile teams.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
• Strong desire for solving complex technical challenges.
• Good English communication skills. Proficiency in German is a plus.
