Territory Sales Manager – Medical Devices

Role Overview:

The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales activities and managing all business aspects within a specific geographic area. The role involves growing new market opportunities, strengthening existing relationships, and working closely with clients—primarily hospitals—to meet and exceed sales goals. After closing sales, the Territory Sales Manager will maintain ongoing customer relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional sales.

This role reports directly to the Country Sales Lead and will work closely with the Clinical Applications team in the designated area.

The Position:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Manage sales activities within a specific geographic area, targeting hospitals and healthcare organizations to expand the company’s market share.
  • Develop New Business Opportunities: Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in hospitals, using both self-generated leads and pre-qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Applications Team: Work closely to demonstrate, install, and train healthcare staff on the company’s imaging systems to ensure successful adoption and satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system while consistently following up to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Attend Industry Events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and events to stay updated on market trends and expand professional networks.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the medical device sector, preferably with a focus on ultrasound or portable imaging solutions.
  • Proven success in selling to hospital staff, including senior-level executives.
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 80% within the designated region.
