Mackinnon Bruce International are partnered with a global Pre Clinical - Contract Research Organisation to hire a Territory Sales Manager to cover the West of Germany.

Who we are

The Client:

A Pre-Clinical CRO, providing early-stage, pre-clinical drug discovery services to Biotech, Pharma and Academic Research Institutes across Europe. Their services include in-vivo and in-vitro research models and services that support drug development and discovery across a range of therapeutic areas including Immuno-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Cardiovascular diseases, metabolic disorders, Inflammation and autoimmune.

The Role:

Due to continued growth in Germany, they are now looking to add to their German Sales team. This person will represent the company's products and services in the West of Germany, and identify new partnership opportunities with Pharma, Biotech, and Academic Research institutes.

  1. Responsible for defining and executing commercial strategy for the region.
  2. Maintaining existing accounts and prospecting new customers within Academia, Biotech, and Pharma.
  3. Maintains and develops partnerships with national key opinion leaders.
  4. Contributes to the development of partnerships and participates in conferences, medical and scientific meetings, congresses and symposiums.
  5. Approx. 3 days of travel in the field per week.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum BSc or MSc in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biology or a related field.
  2. 4+ years of experience in sales, selling services or products to the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Willingness to travel throughout the territory.
