General Description

Provides a variety of customer service functions, including product referrals and meeting Banking Center Associate Standards. Delivers exemplary customer service. Processes a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently. Maintains the security of assigned cash, balancing each day's transactions and verifying cash totals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Professionalism: Represents the bank courteously and professionally; knowledgeable of the 5 Winning Ways of Customer Service, implementing them daily. Meets or exceeds Secret Shop score expectations. (Approx. 20%)
  2. Product Referrals: Has basic knowledge of bank services and products; refers customers appropriately. Meets or exceeds referral expectations. Uses CRM program consistently and accurately. (Approx. 20%)
  3. Cash Handling & Balancing: Balances daily transactions, verifies cash totals, and documents discrepancies. Meets or exceeds balancing expectations. (Approx. 20%)
  4. Transaction Processing: Processes all transactions efficiently and accurately, meeting POD error expectations. (Approx. 15%)
  5. Security & Confidentiality: Maintains confidentiality of customer information and security codes. Implements security policies and attends annual BSA and Security training. (Approx. 10%)
  6. Compliance & Policies: Ensures adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulations, including BSA/AML. (Approx. 15%)
  7. Other Responsibilities: Maintains reliable attendance, punctuality, professional appearance, and clear communication. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0 to 6 months of related experience or training
  • Prior banking or cash handling experience preferred
  • Proficient with desktop/laptop computers and software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
