Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serve customers, prospective customers, and bank associates promptly and professionally, in full accordance with Park Promises and Serving More standards.
  2. Complete transaction processing timely, accurately, and in accordance with bank procedures.
  3. Project the bank's professional reputation through knowledgeable, courteous interactions with customers and prompt resolution of requests, inquiries, or issues.
  4. Refer loan and deposit customers or prospects to subject matter experts.
  5. Complete ongoing product knowledge, digital product knowledge, financial services, and sales-oriented training, in addition to all required courses, to sustain a broad base of product, service, and sales knowledge.
  6. Utilize product knowledge to assist customers and suggest products and services to meet their needs.
  7. Protect bank assets by adhering to all processes, policies, and standard operating procedures related to branch and cash security, negotiable instruments, information security, and regulations impacting teller activity and branch operations.
  8. Participate in periodic in-branch communication and promotional activities specific to the office, if applicable.
  9. Communicate recommendations for improved workflow and service to customers.
  10. Maintain awareness of and adherence to the bank's compliance requirements, risk management policies, and procedures, applying them to daily tasks.
  11. Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. 0-2 years prior cash handling, sales, or customer service experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires remaining in a stationary standing position at least 75% of the time, constant operation of a computer, and frequent verbal communication with customers and coworkers. Must be able to bend and lift up to 25 pounds daily, raise arms up to 90 degrees, and have dexterity in hands for counting currency.

SCHEDULE

Operating hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. The position is hourly, part-time, generally requiring less than 30 hours per week, with an average of 2-3 Saturday shifts per month.
