Job Description:

Renesas is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Principal Technology Marketing Manager for Industrial Networking and Functional Safety. This role is based in Germany, with options for remote work within the country.

As part of our efforts to expand our industrial automation silicon solutions, you will define solutions by analyzing market requirements, technology trends, customer needs, and market conditions. This is a global role with high visibility, involving collaboration with various stakeholders across the company.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Research market technology trends from customer and application perspectives.
2. Identify market growth opportunities and competitive advantages.
3. Analyze system architectures and propose roadmap optimizations.
4. Collaborate with global business development teams to align on technology and market requirements.
5. Engage with key customer strategists to understand their technical needs.
6. Interact with user organizations and standardization bodies to stay ahead of technology trends.
7. Coordinate Proof of Concepts and test activities with partners.
8. Define requirements and develop roadmaps for industrial networking and functional safety solutions.
9. Create value propositions and develop business cases.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent; MBA is a plus.
• Openness to exploring new technologies and markets for implementation insights.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in transforming technical and market insights into business cases.
• Preferred experience in semiconductor marketing.
• Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial automation technologies such as networking, functional safety, and security.
