Technology Marketing Manager Industrial Networking and Functional Safety (f/m/d), Düsseldorf

Renesas is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Principal Technology Marketing Manager for Industrial Networking and Functional Safety. This role can be based in our Düsseldorf or Munich office in Germany, with options for remote work within Germany.

Renesas is accelerating its roadmap for industrial automation silicon solutions. As a Technology Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining solutions by consolidating market requirements based on technology trends, key customer desires, and the market environment.

This is a global role offering the opportunity to collaborate with many stakeholders across the company, providing high visibility and impact.

Your Role:

1. Research market technology trends from customer and application perspectives.
2. Identify market growth potential and opportunities for competitive advantage.
3. Analyze system architectures of applications and propose roadmap optimizations for Renesas.
4. Collaborate with global business development teams to consolidate technology and market requirements.
5. Engage with key customer strategists to understand their technical needs.
6. Interact with user organizations and standardization bodies to capture emerging technology trends.
7. Coordinate Proof of Concepts and Testbed activities with potential partners.
8. Define requirements and create roadmaps for industrial networking and functional safety solutions.
9. Develop product value propositions and build business cases.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Openness to exploring new technologies and markets to inform implementation strategies.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders on technical and business levels.
• Proven ability to translate technical and market requirements into compelling business cases.
• Experience in semiconductor marketing is preferred.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with industrial automation technologies such as industrial networking, functional safety, and security.
• Result-oriented, self-organized, motivated, with independent thinking.
