Position: Technischer Projektleiter für Digitale Leit- & Sicherungstechnik (m/w/d) (Ref.Nr. R1008285) in Voll- oder Teilzeit at our site in Ditzingen
Responsibilities
- As the technical lead for Digitale Leit- und Sicherungstechnik, you have overall technical responsibility for customer-specific system solutions, ensuring technical integrity as well as adherence to commercial and schedule targets from the bid phase through successful project realization.
- Act as the technical point of contact for the customer, understand requirements, provide comprehensive advice, and develop feasible solutions.
- Provide technical leadership for projects with digital interlockings, ETCS Level 2, and control and operation systems, guiding implementation according to customer requirements.
- Coordinate project needs with system development, internal project management, deployment, sales, and purchasing to ensure a cohesive overall solution.
- Represent the technical perspective in customer workshops, identify risks and opportunities, and develop substantiated change orders.
- Manage the full product lifecycle—from technical development, integration and customer acceptance to approval and commissioning.
Qualifications
- Technical degree (e.g., electrical engineering or computer science) or equivalent extensive professional experience in comparable technical environments.
- Experience in technical project management, product management, or technical sales with understanding of complex project structures.
- Strong knowledge of signaling and safety technology and familiarity with the product development processes from requirement specification to approval.
- Fluent German and good English language skills (written and spoken) for seamless communication with customers and international teams.
- Excellent communication, confident demeanor, and strong ability to abstract complex information to navigate demanding project phases.
- Flexible, independent, structured work style with readiness for business travel.
