Job Summary

Supports semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures, applying acquired skills to work on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. Supports the overall team.

Responsibilities

• Performs semi-routine preventative maintenance checks on-site for non-critical facility components.
• Performs semi-routine repairs, maintenance, and installations to non-critical facility components.
• Monitors the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and responds timely to alarms according to standard procedures.
• Assists senior staff with higher-level repairs and corrective maintenance.
• Operates plumbing, fire suppression, and safety systems under supervision.
• Follows established procedures on routine work, requiring instructions only on new assignments.

Vendor Support

• Coordinates with vendors to ensure maintenance activities meet Equinix's requirements.
• Supports work order approval process for routine maintenance with service providers.
• Ensures vendor activities comply with standard operating procedures.

Site Administration & Incident Support

• Maintains site logs for permits such as MOPs and scripts.
• Follows operating procedures to support on-site administration.

Work Orders & Additional Projects

• Completes semi-routine work requests and circuit installations.
• Supports troubleshooting and maintenance of office and auxiliary equipment.
• Assists senior staff with incident response and acts as directed.

Collaboration

• Collaborates to resolve facility incidents.
• Assists with infrastructure projects.
• Informs stakeholders about inventory needs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a high school diploma and relevant work experience.
