The RoleOur business is growing and to ensure that this growth continues further, we want you to strengthen our Molecular Biology capabilities in R&D. In your role as a
Technician, your work involves the skilful and precise execution of laboratory experiments related to molecular biology, microbiology, and biochemistry.
Your key responsibilities will be:- Performing laboratory experiments using mainly the following techniques: PCR, qPCR, isolation of genomic and plasmid DNA, growing microbial cultures (bacteria, fungi) on solid and liquid media (shake flask), and SDS PAGE. You will also contribute to laboratory functionality.
- In addition to daily laboratory operations, your work includes documentation and compilation of experimental results as a basis for regular reporting to your Line Manager and the Responsible Scientist.
- Executing tasks according to the defined specifications, timelines, and priorities which are supervised and supported by the Responsible Scientist.
About You- Apprenticeship as a biological laboratory technician (Biologielaborant/in or BTA) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with sterile techniques and working in S1/S2 biological safety level laboratories.
- Practical experience with standard technologies in molecular biology and microbiology like PCR, qPCR, DNA isolation, and cultivation of bacteria/fungi.
- Experience with bacterial and fungal production platforms is a plus.

- You work with high accuracy and have a pragmatic and independent working style with the ability to prioritize for efficient throughput.
