Jobbeschreibung

As a Robotics Technician, you will be hands-on with the assembly, maintenance, and repair of cutting-edge robotic systems. You will design and realize (e.g. using 3D print, automatization solutions) custom components and fixtures, set up and run rigorous tests, and meticulously document results. Working closely with engineers, you will help diagnose and resolve hardware issues, refine testing processes, and ensure our robotic systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a practical, detail-oriented, and collaborative environment

Your Responsibilities
  • Assemble, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical components of robotic systems
  • Design and 3D print mechanical components and test fixtures using CAD tools and FDM/SLA printers
  • Set up and conduct functional, performance, and endurance tests on robotic subsystems and full assemblies
  • Accurately document test procedures, results, and observations, and maintain comprehensive test logs
  • Identify issues and assist in diagnosing hardware and system failures. Provide clear, detailed feedback to the engineering team
  • Work closely with engineers to develop, improve, and refine test procedures, hardware setups, and validation protocols
  • Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field (Bachelor’s a plus)
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical/electromechanical systems in a lab or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
  • Experience with 3D printing (setup, slicing, post-processing)
  • Familiarity with using lab tools and instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, etc.)
  • Understanding of basic electronics and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proactive problem-solver with a hands-on approach
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a collaborative team
  • Fluency in English is a plus
What we offer
  • A dynamic, highly qualified, and diverse team in which your contributions are reflected directly in our products and used by our international customer base
  • Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes
  • Exciting and varying tasks for our product portfolio
