About this Position

As part of our innovative EIMEA application engineering team at the Inspiration Center in Düsseldorf, you will actively support electronics and e-mobility projects to shape the future of the automotive world.

What you'll do

1. Execute technical tasks with a strong focus on customer needs, prioritizing assignments involving adhesives
2. Perform laboratory procedures in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including setup, operation, and maintenance of both existing and new laboratory equipment and methods
3. Prepare laboratory reports, charts, and tables, and draw preliminary conclusions
4. Develop and support operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods
5. Participate in and support complaint root cause analysis and corrective action planning for all product-related issues
6. Work with microdispensing equipment and adhesives within our electronics product portfolio

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in chemical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or a related field
• 2-3 years of working experience in a technical or laboratory environment, where chemicals are handled
• Preferably knowledge of adhesives or material testing as well as dispensing of adhesives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
