- Manage a team of 8 mechanics and 1 logistician supporting on-site support for Airbus Leap-1A engines until aircraft delivery.
- Forecast, plan, and manage resources for capacity and efficiency.
- Report to the On-Site Manager, ensuring team efficiency.
- Mechanics: Perform maintenance to ensure airworthiness without impacting milestones.
- Logistician: Ensure timely availability of parts and chemicals, and keep ERP database updated.
These duties include but are not limited to:
- People management: Mechanics on two shifts, logistician on daily shift (no night shift).
- Set expectations and manage performance according to policies.
- Communicate regularly with team members, including coaching and meetings.
- Maintain accurate time and attendance records.
- Redeploy staff as needed.
- Ensure tooling availability and calibration.
- Adhere to all HSE policies.
- Ensure quality standards and proper documentation.
- Keep skills matrices and training current.
- Promote continuous improvement.
- University degree in a technical field + 8 years experience or equivalent.
- Aircraft engines maintenance knowledge.
- Customer-oriented.
- IT literacy (MS Office).
- Effective communication in English; French/German a plus.
- Management experience in a customer environment.
- Knowledge of MRP systems (SAP, BAAN) a plus.
- Knowledge of Airbus processes and systems a plus.
