Technical Writer (m/f/d)

Position: Technical Writer

Tasks:

1. Analyzing the requirements for the part to be processed
2. Planning the creation from design to final delivery, including reviews with the specialist departments, taking into account civil and military logistical requirements and requirements of the ÖA
3. Creation of external technical customer documentation for all RME business areas, such as
4. Operating and maintenance manuals, as well as online help and complete system or training documents
5. Creation of maintenance and care plans as well as set-up instructions
6. Updating and maintaining existing technical documentation
7. Creation of spare parts lists and catalogs
8. Preparing technical content in an understandable, target group-oriented, clear and logical form
9. Reviewing German and English-language technical documents from internal/external customers and suppliers
10. Coordinating the results with internal and external customers and suppliers
11. Creation of documents for customer training courses
12. Creating and editing photos/graphics with graphic tools and CAD viewing applications for visualization
13. Output of customer documentation in digital form, print media and tablets
14. Working with databases, content management systems and their administration

Requirements:

1. Completed technical training with further training as a technical editor and initial professional experience
2. Initial experience as a technical writer in the field of defense technology products
3. Good knowledge of technical documentation and ILS as well as ÖAG specifications
4. Good knowledge of standards and regulations for defense and non-defense products
5. TDV, H011, M011, Machinery Directive, DIN EN82079
6. Very good knowledge of the MS Office package and SAP
7. Very good command of written and spoken English
8. Knowledge of electronic documentation creation
9. Specialist knowledge of image processing and CAD
10. Experience in the use of databases
11. Ability to work in a team
12. Negotiating skills
13. Willingness to travel worldwide
14. Confident in dealing with customers
15. Organizational talent, coordination skills, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
