We are looking for a Technical Writer (m/f/d) with talent for languages and a passion for IT to start immediately or as soon as possible at our headquarters in Hannover.

Your Job

1. You will be part of a multinational product management team, helping to build products in our security, backup, and GRC suite, as well as internal tools.
2. You will create technical product documentation according to the DITA standard in German and English using the Oxygen XML Editor.
3. You will translate texts into other languages, mainly German and English (additional languages are a bonus), and coordinate externally sourced translations.
4. You will coordinate documentation content with developers and the product team.
5. You will translate or create texts for the user interfaces of our product suite in coordination with the product team.
6. You will create product change logs and release notes for upcoming releases.
7. You will answer questions about documented products and facilitate knowledge transfer across departments.

Your Profile

1. You hold a degree in Technical Writing, International Technical Communication, or a comparable qualification.
2. You are fluent in written and spoken German and English; additional languages are a plus.
3. You are a highly driven, goal-oriented, and self-motivated team player capable of delivering with minimal supervision.
4. You can effectively communicate complex concepts both verbally and in writing.
5. You have experience with translation management systems such as memoQ or SDL Trados Studio.
6. You are familiar with content creation using DITA.
7. You are proficient in document structuring, can work under pressure on multiple projects, and respect deadlines.
8. Ideally, you have familiarity with software development and SaaS products.
9. You possess strong analytical skills and are good at researching information.
10. You are a quick learner eager to explore new technologies and ideas.
