Qualifikationen

• Mehrere Jahre Erfahrung in der Erstellung technischer Dokumentationen in Deutsch und Englisch.
• Idealerweise Erfahrung im medizinischen Bereich.
• Fließende Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sind Voraussetzung.

Aufgaben

• Verantwortlich für die Erstellung der technischen Dokumentation unserer Softwareprodukte.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit der Entwicklungsabteilung zur Qualitätssicherung der Dokumentation.
• Eigenständige Recherche von Spezifikationen und Entwicklungsdokumenten.

Technical Writer (f/m/d)

Your contribution:

You are responsible for the timely and correct provision of the complete technical documentation of our software product, also in the context of requirements from ISO-13485

You will work closely with the development department to ensure documentation quality

You will independently research specifications and other development documents

You will communicate complex topics and technical issues in clear language

You will write and edit manuals, tutorials, training materials and other documentation in English

You translate parts of this documentation from English into German and vice versa

You are jointly responsible for the further development and optimization of our documentation platform

Qualification/Hard Skills:

Several years of experience in writing technical documentation in German and/or English

Ideally you have experience in working in the medical field and describing complex workflows to medical staff

Fluent German and English skills are a must. We mostly communicate in English, but provide content to German-native speakers

Additional languages are a plus, e.g. Ukrainian or Portuguese

Experience with tools like Markdown, Confluence, Jira, Gitlab, etc are good to have

Soft Skills:

Experience dealing with cross-functional and cross-geographic teams and interpersonal communication skills are required to interact with the Product and Development Teams

Strong problem-solving skills in complex environments

Able to work effectively under schedule pressure to provide updates to documents

Excellent analytical and quantitative skills - enthusiasm for learning - strong work ethic
