Tenova S.p.A. in Duisburg is seeking a Technical Writer / CAD Designer (m/f/d) to strengthen the Mechanical Design team. This permanent, full-time role is based in Duisburg with immediate start.

You will create technical documentation and 2D/3D drawings, assist with plant layouts, and maintain part lists while coordinating with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate has vocational CAD training, at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong AutoCAD and Inventor skills, and fluency in German

Qualifikationen

• Vocational training as a technical/CAD designer or comparable qualification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in technical specifications and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor; MS Office; SAP and PDM Profile desirable.
• Fluency in German and English.

Description: We are looking for a TECHNICAL WRITER / CAD DESIGNER(m/f/d) to expand our Mechanical Design team. Immediate start, permanent, full-time position, based in Duisburg. You will carry out the following activities:

• Creating technical documentation and technical descriptions, including those in accordance with national and international standards and guidelines, as well as CAD and profile guidelines
• Creating and modifying technical drawings (in 2D and 3D)
• Assisting with construction design and plant layouts
• Maintaining part lists and master data
• Communicating with internal stakeholders and business partners

Required profile:

• Vocational training as a technical/CAD designer (m/f/d) or comparable qualification
• At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the preparation of technical specifications for the procurement process and the creation of technical documentation
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, and MS Office; experience with PDM Profile and SAP is desirable
• Ideally, knowledge of job-related standards (Machinery Directive, CAD, documentation)
• Very good command of both German and English
• Flexibility, responsibility, ability to work independently, and strong teamwork skills
