About Pallon

At Pallon, a spin-off from ETH Zurich, we are developing an AI that automatically detects defects in sewer inspection videos and advises cities on when and how to fix them. With more accurate and objective data, we are helping to reduce CO2 emissions and prevent urban flooding. Our mission is to make cities more sustainable and resilient.

Your role

At Pallon, we offer you an exclusive opportunity to work in internal education and help train our growing team. Reporting to our Head of Education, we are seeking an individual who is enthusiastic about Knowledge Base documentation curating, creating, and maintaining for internal training.

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for crafting content for our bootcamp and knowledge platform. This entails creating new content while collaborating with our product and other technical writers to ensure that the knowledge base remains current in light of our growing team.

You’ll also be responsible for:

• Helping create a repository of self-help content, encompassing how-to guides, troubleshooting manuals, FAQs, and video documentation.
• Creating diagrams, screenshots, and other visuals to support documentation.
• Editing, clarifying, and proofreading documents written by others.
• Following authoring processes, style guides, and procedures to ensure a consistent written tone throughout all documentation.
• Embracing experimentation and iterative enhancements.
  
  

Requirements

• You possess over 2 years of experience in technical writing or content creation.
• Experience working with SMEs to create and update content.
• Familiarity with following content strategy, self-driven writing, and timely delivery of assignments.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
• A history of working on cross-functional projects and collaborations.
• We’re looking for a self-starter who takes full ownership, thrives on autonomy, and consistently gets things done without needing to be micromanaged.
