Your mission: elevate an already high-performing team that powers core services such as wealth management, market making, risk management, and regulation. You will manage a focused team of five, fostering a long-term vision, strong culture, and independence.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong background in our tech stack, especially Python
• Proficiency in AWS services, serverless architecture, and system design
• Deep understanding of various databases
• People management skills and a commitment to leadership

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a team of Python backend engineers to deliver innovative services
• Design and develop new platforms using modern technologies and practices
• Enhance legacy systems, ensuring progress and meaningful improvements
• Choose tools for data storage, processing, and visualization
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with clarity
• Focus on tangible business results in engineering decisions
• Foster teamwork, open communication, and knowledge sharing
• Create next-generation wealth management and brokerage services
• Utilize our tech stack: Python, DevOps, Docker, CI/CD, Terraform, AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, ECS, Step Functions, Aurora, DynamoDB, Glue, Athena), and event-driven architectures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Python backend experience
• Leadership experience emphasizing culture
• Hands-on AWS experience
• Experience with Docker, Git, RESTful APIs
• Knowledge in data-driven business applications
• Excellent English communication skills
• Proactive, collaborative, and good time management
