Jobbeschreibung

We at ControlExpert, the world’s largest InsurTech helping motor insurers digitize, accelerate, and automate claims, are looking for a remote Technical Team Lead based anywhere in Asia.

You would be working alongside an amazing team of Business professionals based in Los Angeles, California.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of Frontend, Backend, Fullstack, and QA Engineers.
  2. Quickly grasp technical concepts and assign tasks to the team.
  3. Monitor team performance and quality.
  4. Stay updated on platform, application, and mobile development trends and apply learnings accordingly.
  5. Have a proven record of developing software applications.
  6. Have experience managing a team of developers.
  7. Lead by example and practice thought leadership.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of software development experience.
  • At least 3 years in a senior technical management role.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred:
  • Startup-oriented mindset.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in Ruby and tuning.
  • Experience with ORM: Entity Framework / NHibernate.
  • Knowledge of Mobile Development, SOA, Enterprise Service Bus, Application scalability.
  • Framework development techniques for .NET, iOS, and Android.
  • Experience in building and consuming RESTful services and Service-Oriented Architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with SaaS, Mobile applications, multi-tenant cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), UML, distributed architectures, scalability, and performance considerations.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture methodologies such as TOGAF.
  • Strong leadership in Agile software development, continuous integration/delivery, and test automation strategies.
  • Understanding of enterprise/cloud platforms and mobile application designs.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with partners at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
