Technical Support and Field Engineer

Location: (Europe) Flexibility to work from home or on-site is a top priority for us.
Duration: Long-term contract

Job duties & responsibilities

1. Assess our customers' labelling equipment, set up labelling machines, and ensure optimal operation of labelling lines.
2. Conduct line assessments and qualify new labelling applications.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve existing challenges on the lines with the customer's team.
4. Operate various labelling machines (experience with main manufacturers required).
5. Train operators on our customers' lines to handle our products properly and operate the labelling equipment efficiently.
6. Document situations accurately for root-cause analysis with our technical team.

Requirements

1. A self-motivated professional with a proven track record in the packaging industry.
2. Willing to travel extensively, primarily within Europe, with potential for global assignments.
3. Experience operating and troubleshooting various labelling machines.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with customers’ teams.
5. Excellent training skills to educate operators on handling products and equipment.
6. Ability to document technical situations accurately for internal analysis.
7. Available on short notice.
8. IT equipment and a company car (including private usage) will be provided.
