Sapfix Ltd in Germany seeks a senior SW engineer to lead the software development for traction inverters and DC-DC converters in automotive projects. You will drive model-based control methods using MATLAB/Simulink, embedded C, and collaborate across hardware, software, and system teams.

Fluency in German and English, plus extensive experience with ISO-26262 and ASPICE, are required to shape architecture, requirements, and verification strategies for safe, high-performance electric drive systems.

Qualifikationen

• Completed university degree in electronics, electrical engineering or a comparable field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in series automotive projects focusing on SW development for electric drives.
• Expertise in control design for traction electric motors for electric vehicles.
• Excellent knowledge of electric powertrain architecture; model-based control development (MATLAB/Simulink, dSpace TargetLink) and embedded C.
• Experience with measurement and calibration tools (Vector CANape).
• Professional experience in ISO-26262 and ASPICE and their application in embedded software engineering.
• Demonstrated experience functioning in a highly collaborative, demanding, and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent skills in communication, organization, teamwork and project management.
• Fluent in German and English skills.

Aufgaben

• Technical leader of function and SW developers for traction inverter and DC-DC converter.
• Eliciting customer requirements and interface to SW requirements.
• Create SW requirements, contribute to SW and System architecture.
• Develop and implement control design for electric drive systems, using model based tools and embedded C language.
• Perform and review of development activities according to Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and ASPICE.
• Contribute to specification and implementation of test cases for MiL, SiL and PiL testing of SW units and integrated SW.
• Research and implementation of advanced modelling and control design approaches for electric drives.
• Contribute to component and system testing on HiL, Test Benches and in-Vehicle.
• Provide technical support to sales in interaction with potential customers and preparing new offerings and proposals.
• Technical project management.
