Job summary

Marquardt is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead end-to-end automotive system projects. You will drive delivery, coach teams in system engineering leadership, and ensure quality through KPI-based management across locations.

The role emphasizes RFQ through series launch with a focus on risk, cost, and technology targets, while promoting best practices in the automotive domain.

Qualifications

• Graduate or master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Science.
• Strong understanding of automotive systems and vehicle architecture.
• Experience with system engineering and automotive tools (e.g. Vector toolchain, DOORS, JIRA).
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet protocols.
• Familiarity with functional safety and cybersecurity standards, Automotive SPICE
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, conflict resolution, and executive communication skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects ensuring they stay on time, in scope, and within budget
• Coaching, mentoring, and capability development of employees in System Engineering, Technical Project Leader and Test Managers
• Quality assurance and performance management for automotive projects (reviews, KPIs, corrective actions)
• Project support and process excellence (project reviews, process improvements, lessons learned)
• Standards alignment and technical community promotion (cross-location standards, System Network Testing advocacy)
• Technical and product ownership/responsibility - from RFQ to series launch
• Technical project leadership and target achievement (team steering, risk/change/maturity management, cost, quality, and technology targets)

Your Profile
