Sensient Technologies Corporation is seeking a Technical Service Manager to oversee the flavours and extracts platforms for our Pharma business. Based onsite in Geesthacht, you will coordinate internal activities, lead development projects, and present technical information for customers and internal teams.

The role requires a university degree in a related science, strong lab experience in a customer-facing environment, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Food Science or related field is required.
• Solid experience in an analytical or application lab in a customer-facing environment.
• Demonstrated time management and prioritization based on business impact.
• Ability to analyze problems and opportunities and provide creative solutions; strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%, with short-notice travel possible.

• Serve as the technical SME on Pharma product platforms for assigned accounts and guide customers in using Sensient's portfolio.
• Translate technical content for diverse audiences to drive projects through each stage.
• Develop proficiency with application lab equipment and methodologies; manage day-to-day operations.
• Lead application and development projects and present technical information for training events.
• Identify new product opportunities based on customer needs and participate in Stage Gate for new products and materials.

We are looking for a Technical Service Manager to be responsible for the flavours & extracts platforms of our Pharma business in Geesthacht, Hamburg. You will coordinate internal activities to execute application and new product development projects, including designing and producing prototypes that meet the specifications and requirements of our customers.

What you’ll do:

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert on Pharma product platforms for assigned accounts and guide customers in the selection and best use of Sensient's portfolio
• Translate technical content for diverse audiences to drive projects through each commercial stage.
• Develop proficiency with Application lab equipment and methodologies and manage assigned day-to-day operations
• Lead application and development projects for assigned customers and present technical information for internal and external training events
• Identify modified or new product opportunities based on customer needs. Participate in Stage Gate process for development of new, innovative products and evaluation of new raw materials.
• Develop in depth knowledge of the industry segments served by Pharma, evolving trends, customer base and competitors.

What you’ll bring:

• University degree in Food Science, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering or related scientific discipline required. Masters or Ph. D. preferred.
• Solid experience in analytical or application lab in a customer facing environment
• Demonstrated ability for time management and task prioritization based on business impact
• Ability to analyze problems and opportunities and provide creative solutions, Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent Englishlanguage skills (spoken and written), other additional language proficiencies are an advantage
• Travel domestically and internationally, if needed, up to 50%; need flexibility to accommodate short notice travel occasionally.
