Job Description

Our Client - A leading innovator in the electric vehicle (EV) charging sector is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to deliver expert technical support and training across the DACH region. This hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing clean technology environment, helping to maintain and improve service quality for partners and customers.

Role Summary - As a Service Engineer, you will be the technical backbone for our service partners and clients. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting, on-site problem solving, and delivering technical training to ensure seamless operation of EV charging systems. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll gather feedback, document best practices, and help drive continuous improvement of our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and upskill service partners, including onboarding assistance.
  • Provide expert technical support remotely and on-site when needed, using tools like Jira and Teams.
  • Deliver and reinforce technical training programs to partners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to EV charging infrastructure.
  • Collect customer feedback and collaborate internally to enhance service quality.
  • Share knowledge, document learnings, and contribute to service process improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and continuously develop your technical expertise.

Requirements:

  • Technical education or certification in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (Electrician background also considered).
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ideally in EV charging, electrical, or related industries.
  • Familiar with service management principles, SLAs, and customer support best practices.
  • Comfortable conducting site visits for technical assessments and root cause analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to grow professionally in a dynamic environment.
