Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Significant technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND proven technical pre-sales or consulting experience OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND demonstrable experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Cybersecurity
• Proven experience with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and technology management
• Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Office 365, Power BI, Azure Architect, Cloud Technologies, Information Security, Architecture)
• Fluency in German is beneficial

Responsibilities

As a Security Technical Specialist, your primary goal is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use our security solutions, including Microsoft M365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Sentinel.

You will work with a virtual team of technical, partner, and consulting resources to educate customers, demonstrate solutions, and secure technical decisions to meet sales targets. This role will help you maintain and develop deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud security solutions, architectures, programs, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scale Customer Engagements: Remediate blockers; lead and ensure technical wins for Microsoft Security; build credibility as a trusted advisor; proactively engage with customers; leverage customer references.
• Scale Through Partners: Engage in partner sell-with scenarios and support partner technical capacity.
• Build Strategy: Contribute to security strategy development, shape win plans, tailor messaging, and develop competitive strategies for security opportunities.
• Solution Design & Proof: Demonstrate and oversee solution demonstrations, present architecture patterns, prove capabilities, and support integration into customer environments. Coach teams on digital transformation and technology alignment with security needs.
• Education: Develop personal expertise in XDR, zero trust, and cloud security; mentor others; increase team understanding of security solutions and opportunities.
