Technical Sales Support Specialist (m/f/d)

This position reports to

Customer Support Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You are the contact person for the global markets in electrification/smart building in Germany and you offer technical solutions and advice on ABB products, systems and applications.

1. Conducting solution-oriented discussions with customers and answering complex technical inquiries by telephone and e-mail.
2. Supporting the sales team by providing advice on technical solutions, products, systems and applications.
3. Performing diagnostics and analysis to make recommendations for improvement based on customer needs.
4. Contributing technical details and perspectives at various stages and conducting technical presentations, drawings and demonstrations on complex product issues.
5. Participating in workshops to ensure the quality of products, software and processes.
6. Organizing technical training for commercial colleagues.

Qualifications for the role

• Completed technical/industrial vocational training and subsequent specialist training as a master craftsman or electrical engineering technician.
• More than 2 years of experience in applied electrical engineering, as a technical consultant, installer or planner with building automation systems such as KNX, door intercom systems, heating and lighting control systems.
• Knowledge of installation technology and programming and in the environment of electrical wholesalers, installers and electrical planners.
• Knowledge of ETS software, MS Office and Teamviewer.
• You communicate fluently in written and spoken German; English skills round off your profile.
