Plasmidsaurus is expanding our commercial team and seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to support pre-sales technical activities and drive strategic revenue growth in the United States. In this role, you'll serve as the NGS expert for our industry-leading plasmid sequencing and long-read NGS solutions, helping academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical researchers accelerate their work with our high-quality, cost-effective services. We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong self-confidence, and a personality that draws people in, who is eager to contribute to a rapidly evolving team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Act as the technical face of Plasmidsaurus: Support the field sales team in qualifying and closing opportunities by delivering expert insights on our NGS service offerings.
Educate and inspire: Share industry leading knowledge at customer meetings, webinars, and conferences to communicate the value and performance of Plasmidsaurus’ sequencing solutions.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with product development, marketing, customer success, and operations to align market needs with service capabilities and strategic initiatives.
Drive growth: Contribute to sales strategy, track market trends, identify competitive insights, and support forecasting and planning efforts.
Build relationships: Develop strong customer rapport to ensure successful onboarding, retention, and satisfaction.
Report and communicate: Provide regular updates on customer engagement, pipeline status, and business development efforts.
