The candidate is a highly organized, self-motivating individual with excellent communication skills. The candidate promotes and sells Pure-Flo and EnviZion (PF) products directly in the BioPharm market. This is done through distributors, representatives, OEMs, and Engineering Firms (A&E). The candidate is a hands-on salesperson who spends most of his time traveling within the region to visit customers, discover new opportunities, and increase sales. He discovers new sales opportunities with existing and new customers, coordinates quote activities, and pursues orders to maximize product sales.
The candidate develops new OEM accounts that build skids and systems. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for discovering and exploring large CAPEX projects by end-users, with the goal of selling and installing ITT valves.
The territory initially includes Benelux, Germany, and Eastern Europe (excluding Poland and Lithuania). Future markets and territories may change. The candidate is also expected to support other regional activities as required by the Sales Director EMEA, India & APAC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Marketing, or at least 7 years of experience in the BioPharm industry. Candidates with a minimum of five years of outside diaphragm valve sales experience in BioPharm are preferred. Candidates with strong channel management experience, familiarity with other valve types or related products, and/or other capital equipment will also be considered.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public. Fluency in German and English, both verbal and written, is required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and handle variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret instructions in various formats (written, oral, diagram, or schedule).
COMPUTING SKILLS
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and navigation of custom applications within a MS Windows environment.
