Location : Germany (nationwide), remote with travel

Office / production based in North Rhine-Westphalia

Job Description :

The Resolute Group has been retained by an international manufacturer that supplies specialist parts for the high voltage and power sectors worldwide. The company plays a key role in the supply chain supporting HV cabling, overhead lines, and substations.

Due to growth across the European markets, we are seeking a proactive and commercially focused individual to join the Germany division. The role involves driving commercial performance by converting project opportunities, influencing technical specifications, and developing strategic business relationships.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior sales leadership and regional colleagues to strengthen the company's market position. Building strong relationships with existing clients and identifying new project opportunities to develop new clients and business is essential.

This position requires a driven individual capable of managing their own daily activities. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will manage your own diary, meetings, and business development activities, build your pipeline, and share knowledge with other Business Development managers across Europe.

As clients operate across Europe, building internal relationships will be key to sharing knowledge and opportunities within existing client accounts.

Role Responsibilities :

  • Drive growth by converting project opportunities and influencing specifications within the German region.
  • Identify and develop new business with end users, specifiers, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Build and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to enhance market presence and align with sales objectives.
  • Manage your own sales pipeline while supporting team performance where needed.

Person Specification :

  • Previous business development experience within an engineering company.
  • Fluent in German and English (applications without this will not be considered).
  • Full driving license and flexibility to travel.
