As a Technical Sales Consultant (m/f/d), you are the crucial link between our customers and our state-of-the-art software solutions. You understand complex technical requirements, translate them into customized concepts, and ensure that our products reach their full potential for our customers.
- Requirements Analysis: You precisely analyze our customers’ complex technical challenges and translate them into customized solution concepts based on our standard products.
- Proposal Development: You actively contribute to the proposal process by creating compelling technical concepts, solution description and documents that clearly highlight the true added value of our solutions.
- Technical Sales & Demos: As part of technical sales activities, you’ll conduct in-depth product presentations and Demos. You’ll confidently manage the preparation of demo environments, drawing on support from other departments as needed.
- Technical Blueprints: To ensure a transparent, timely and reliable presentation of the solutions we offer, you will create and maintain detailed technical solution blueprints.
- Standardization & Product Strategy: Working closely with our customers and product management, you will drive standardization forward and help continuously refine product presentations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: As the liaison between Sales, Product Management, Development, and Professional Services, you’ll support the entire integration and implementation process.
- Knowledge Management: Creating and maintaining technical documentation (use cases, FAQs, manuals) is also part of your responsibilities to ensure the long-term success.
Qualifications that inspire us
- Solid Foundation: A degree in Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification forms your foundation, supplemented by several years of experience in a technical consulting or technical sales role.
- Deep expertise in energy transmission and distribution: A proven command of one or more of the following areas: SCADA (EMS/ADMS), Network Applications, AGC, Energy Trading, Market Management Systems, and Gas/Pipeline Management—including Commercial Dispatching—alongside relevant market technologies, trends, and regulations.
- Communication Skills: You can explain complex IT structures and software architectures in an understandable way and present them visually in an engaging manner.
- Collaborative Go-Getter: You value close collaboration at the intersection of development and sales and enjoy direct customer contact.
- Structure & Precision: You are known for your structured approach to work and high standards of quality when creating technical documents.
