What You Will Do

In this role, you will work with and provide technical sales expertise for the Civil Construction industry in the DACH and Eastern regions. You will report to the region Sales Engineers Manager and collaborate closely with other Sales Engineers and Managers to expand sales of Trimble products and services.

We expect you to be a team player with a technical field profile and expertise in surveying. You should enjoy continuous learning, product training, demonstrations, and supporting the commissioning and training of Trimble's Construction portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate dealer competency, train sales and technical personnel, and introduce new products.
• Provide presale configuration assistance and respond to questions from dealers and team members.
• Perform field installation, training, and demonstrations to enable dealer autonomy.
• Support events such as field days, conferences, and trade shows.
• Assist in product updates, documentation, and training development.
• Participate in product releases and beta testing.
• Escalate issues to support centers and assist OEM teams as needed.
• Provide market and competitive analysis and execute pre- and post-sales training strategies.
• Contribute to team development and demonstrate team spirit.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in civil construction, surveying, machine control, or relevant industries.
• Knowledge of construction and CAD software, 3D modeling, and workflows.
• Strong communication skills in German and English.
• Ability to work autonomously and in international teams.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to advanced technology like telematics, drones, scanning, or photogrammetry.
• Sales experience in construction or related industries.
• Knowledge of telematics software and remote asset management.
• Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
