Job Description:

Saab in Denmark is part of the Saab Group with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. Saab Danmark is an independent legal entity with a flat organizational structure. Our main business is delivering integrated communication solutions to military markets in Denmark and abroad.

We are growing our global defense business and seek Technical Publication Writers for our Technical Documentation department. These writers collaborate closely with technical teams to produce manuals for operation, maintenance, and repair of our Integrated Communications System TactiCall.

The department also works with Logistics Support (ILS) and training teams to meet project-specific customer requirements. Our publications focus on military and civilian communication systems and network technology.

Danish language skills are a plus but not required.

Role and Qualifications:

A senior candidate should have experience with:

• ILS and/or S-series standards (especially S1000D)
• XML-based content management systems
• Simplified Technical English (STE)
• Technical documentation creation, editing, and updating
• Reviewing technical documents and customer requirements
• Project and process management
• Military or civilian communication systems
• Technical terminology and interpreting complex diagrams

We welcome both senior and junior applicants with relevant experience. Candidates must obtain security clearance from the Danish Defence Intelligence Service, which requires residency within NATO/EU for the past 7 years.
