The Position

We are a spin-off of RWTH Aachen University, which develops a special coating technology to enable recyclable plastic packaging for various applications. We are looking for a technical project manager (m/f/d) to join us in building a company that will significantly advance the circular economy for plastics in Germany and the world.

Your Mission

• You take on technical project management for the development of innovative plasma coating systems in special machine engineering

• You define project goals with our customers and oversee their implementation

• You are responsible for planning, controlling, and executing projects, including resource allocation, scheduling, and quality control

• You capture technical requirements and implement them, e.g., by taking on-site measurements, creating layout drawings, and designing P&IDs

• You take process engineering responsibility for customer-specific solutions in areas such as exhaust air purification, transport, and product recovery

• You coordinate interdisciplinary teams and external partners throughout the entire project lifecycle

• You support the sales department with technical expertise, including during the quotation phase

• You actively contribute to the development and introduction of new methods and concepts to shape our project management

Your Profile

• You hold an academic degree in mechanical, process, or industrial engineering, or a comparable technical field

• You have at least 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience in plant engineering, ideally as a project manager or in a similar role

• You possess a strong understanding of technical projects and solutions

• You have in-depth experience and knowledge in the area of project management

• You are proficient in CAD (Autodesk Inventor) and confident in using MS Office applications

• You inspire your team, customers, and other stakeholders with your communication skills

• You like to take on responsibility and convince with your confident and professional manner

• You are business fluent in German and English, additional languages, e.g., French, are an advantage

• You are willing to travel nationally and internationally
