A leading supplier of brake systems, working closely with OEMs across Europe is currently looking for a Technical Project Manager for their Brake Systems. They are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join their team and oversee vehicle evaluation projects and technical discussions with OEMs for technical matters.
They are looking for Manager or Assistant-Manager level candidates for this role.
Working Hours: 8:30–17:30 (1-hour lunch break)
Start: ASAP (TBD)
Location: Greater Frankfurt Area, Germany (Up to 2 days working from home is acceptable)
Technical Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Evaluation Management:
Plan and coordinate vehicle evaluation activities, mainly in collaboration with OEMs.
Analyse test results and provide technical reports to customers.
Ensure smooth execution of evaluation processes. - Technical Discussion with OEMs:
Technical sales activities for European OEMs.
Engage in technical discussions related to brake system design.
Serve as the key technical liaison between OEMs and the Japan-based design team. - Training & Development:
Train and mentor team members on brake system technology and testing procedures. - Business Travel:
Travel within Europe (mainly in Germany) approximately once a month for a week.
Support on-site vehicle testing, including city driving and customer test track evaluations.
Technical Project Manager Ideal Candidate:
- 3 years of experience in a technical role, specifically in braking or chassis-related systems.
- Previous experience in vehicle evaluation is highly preferred.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is advantageous.
- Native-level in German and business fluency in English is needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in a global environment; familiarity with Japanese corporate culture is a plus.
