Technical Project Manager - Semiconductor / Sensors

A leading Semiconductor company in sensing technology is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the company in Reutlingen, DE.

Are you an experienced technical leader ready to step into project management? We're looking for a Technical Project Manager to join the Product Development team in Reutlingen, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

In this role, you\'ll be instrumental in driving the development of next-generation sensor technologies, from initial concept to mass production. You\'ll lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with internal and external partners, and ensure seamless communication across all stages of the product lifecycle.

What you\'ll do

• Lead cross-functional product and process development teams.
• Drive next-generation sensor developments across various sensing technologies.
• Collaborate with external partners on research initiatives.
• Generate new ideas, file intellectual property, and successfully demonstrate new technologies.
• Take full technical project management responsibility from concept to mass production, including managing technical interdependencies and risks.
• Maintain documentation and lead regular process reviews.
• Align with Marketing & Sales on requirements and lead status reviews with project teams.
• Act as a key interface to research institutes and external partners.
• Inspire and encourage team members, ensuring high motivation and commitment.
• Facilitate effective communication within the global Sciosense team.
• Timely escalate issues and risks to management.

What you\'ll bring

• PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline OR M.Sc / B.Sc. / B.Eng in Engineering or a related field with professional experience.
• Proven experience in project management.
• A hands-on mentality.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English and German (minimum C level).
• Experience in product development (from proof of principle to mass production) is a plus.
• Background in gas sensors or the automotive industry is an advantage.
