Company: Identity & Access Management Software & Solutions Company (no IAM experience required; interested in industry transition!)

Salary: Up to €84,000, depending on experience

Location: Frankfurt office - remote friendly up to once in the office every 6 weeks, with more frequent presence optional. Some client travel within the DACH region is expected.

Requirements: Must already reside in Germany | No sponsorship available | C1 German or higher

What they're looking for:

• You have 2+ years experience working on complex software projects, possibly as a software developer or implementation consultant. They value transferable skills.
• You possess a technical skillset (not necessarily IAM-specific) such as APIs, databases, scripting, etc., and can learn to configure and install their software solutions. You do not need to be a developer, just technically oriented.

You should be comfortable in a client-facing role, playing a key technical role to ensure successful implementation projects.

Previous project management experience alone is not sufficient; a technical IT skillset is required to create technical specifications and solutions.

Role: Technical Project Manager

You will facilitate the realization of client needs through successful software implementation into their environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop technical specifications
• Define solutions
• Support non-technical project managers
• Oversee configuration and testing
• Conduct product training for customers
• Project management

You will join the growing German office, focusing on the DACH region, managing 2-4 projects with project durations of 6-12 months, working with large clients across various sectors.

This role involves working with large organizations (3-6k employees on average).

This venture capital-funded firm has been active for nearly 20 years in the Identity & Access Management industry, providing software and solutions to well-known international clients. The team comprises over 100 employees across three countries, with around 20 based in Germany.

The German office has been operational for about 3 years, evolving from a cost center to a key part of the business. The company values influence and growth opportunities and is hiring due to expansion.

The immediate team consists of about 5 people, led by a team lead who oversees projects but does not manage directly. The team values problem-solving, solutions-oriented thinking, and a friendly, open-minded culture.
