Together with our Platform Engineering teams, you will not only ensure that we offer a scalable, flexible SaaS infrastructure but also be responsible for designing processes and solutions to support further scaling. The teams manage domains such as multi-tenant Azure infrastructure on a global scale, distributed customer backup and restoration capabilities, and a state-of-the-art observability platform. Additionally, they enable product engineers around core processes like service ownership and CI/CD, embodying the engineering value: "We built it, we run it." Technical Product Managers at SAP LeanIX are integral members of the product team, with additional software development expertise to excel in collaboration with platform teams. WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?

• Develop and communicate the long-term vision and roadmap for the cloud platform, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
• Engage with internal customers and customer success staff to understand stakeholder pain points and gather insights to inform platform development and enhancements.
• Lead prioritization for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. You will oversee the team's backlog and roadmap, managing topics from product discovery through delivery to customer value.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, and UX/UI teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, user-centric features that enhance developer and customer experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitive products to maintain market leadership in innovation and performance.
• Define and monitor KPIs to assess infrastructure robustness and scalability, promoting continuous improvement.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• At least 2 years of product management experience, focusing on cloud infrastructure and internal stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate has a strong technical and academic background, with hands-on engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and technical constraints to guide product decisions and roadmaps.
• Proven experience in understanding user needs, translating them into product requirements, and delivering solutions that improve user experience.
• Experience with agile development processes in large SaaS companies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and lead collaboratively within your team to execute product initiatives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fluent in English.
