Titan Wind Energy is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Operations Engineer – Coating to join our team in Cuxhaven. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company in a permanent role, with strong prospects for long-term growth and career development as the business continues to expand in the coming years. You will play a crucial role in shaping the Coating department and influence the development of the facilities during their construction. In this role you will be involved in the development of the Coating department from the very beginning and drive the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Follow all aspects of the coating department, ensuring technical excellence, high-quality standards.

Drive improvements in coating processes, including the integration of robotic solutions.

Support the department manager in budget and ensure financial goals are met through effective planning and cost control.

Collaborate closely with the production team in Cuxhaven to ensure seamless operations.

Play a central role in the construction and development of facilities, bringing your technical expertise to shape operations.

· Travel 20-30 days per year to various locations for site visits, client meetings, and technical project co-ordination.

Required Qualifications

Strong technical understanding of coatings and coating processes, with substantial experience in adhering to and applying coating specifications and industry standards for surface treatments.

Technical experience in larger organizations, preferably within the coating or manufacturing industries.

Frosio-certification is a plus, but not a requirement.

Mechanical engineering, machinist background, or other relevant qualifications and documented experience.

Technical and financial understanding in calculation and budget planning.

Passion for and experience with robotic solutions and their application in coating technologies.

Highly professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

About Titan:

Titan Wind Energy is privately owned and was founded in China in 2005, with its headquarters in Shanghai. The company has operated a factory in Denmark since 2012. In 2019, Titan acquired the Cuxhaven facility, which is currently undergoing reconstruction. By Q4 2026, the Cuxhaven facility will be ready to begin production of foundations for the offshore wind industry.

Location: Permanent role based in Cuxhaven, Germany.

Start Date: Q3 – 2025

Your position:

As a Technical Operations Engineer – Coating, you will be part of a strong and highly experienced team at Titan Wind Energy Cuxhaven. During the construction phase, you will work within the Technical Construction Team responsible for developing the new production facilities. You will report directly to the Managing Director based in Denmark.
