Zusammenfassung

Qualifikationen

About your team:

The Team “Backend Application Support” supports our scheduling system, core banking system, and output management system. We are responsible for the smooth running and system operation and for the 2nd level support.

About your role:

In this role you will be part of a team responsible for the technical implementation and management of the FFB Scheduling System. You will assist in setting up new clients and implement file transfer jobs. A technical affinity is required for this. You will work on constant enhancements and improvements of the application in close cooperation with the business stakeholders, the external software vendors, and the hosting service provider.

You will cover the key parts of the software lifecycle, from test preparation, test management, and production rollouts to ongoing production support. You will work on projects as well as day-to-day operations. You will also be responsible for performance testing and application optimization to ensure scalability and resilience to meet FFB's growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical ownership of scheduling System
  • Technical ownership of core banking systems
  • Covering the aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from testing, software roll-out up to ongoing production operation including weekend coverage (usually Saturdays)
  • 2nd level support: analysis of potential incidents and close collaboration with the external software vendor

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Must have:

  • Excellent knowledge of scheduling systems (i.e. Control-M)
  • Excellent knowledge of Unix operating systems and Shell scripting
  • Experience knowledge of Docker Technology
  • Basic knowledge as application administrator of a core banking system or equivalent (mission-critical) applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral)
  • Flexible, open, and innovative
  • Strong team player
  • Passion to learn and continuously grow

Preferable Skills:

  • Knowledge in container technologies and CI/CD technologies (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket, …)
  • Experience with collaboration tools Atlassian JIRA and ServiceNOW
