Your Impact: To support our mission, we’re looking for a Technical Lead to take full ownership of our mobile, web, and backend applications, drive architectural decisions, and lead delivery efforts across teams. You will collaborate with the CTPO, product team, operations, and external partners to align system architecture with business goals and create scalable, resilient solutions. This is a unique opportunity to influence a meaningful product while mentoring a skilled team.
Your Mission
- Take full technical ownership of a modern, multi-platform architecture, including web applications (Webshop, Customer Portal, Backoffice using Angular, Kotlin/Java, AWS Lambda), smartwatch (WearOS/Android), and mobile applications (Android/iOS).
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team (backend, frontend, mobile, DevOps).
- Provide architectural guidance, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
- Develop and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant systems and software architecture.
- Drive middleware design to facilitate communication between internal services, CRMs, and third-party tools.
- Manage integrations with third-party services like Salesforce and Chargebee.
- Stay hands-on with implementation, remove blockers, set standards, and enable execution.
- Translate business needs into technical tickets, priorities, and timelines.
- Collaborate with leadership, product managers, operations, and external partners.
- Act as a bridge between engineering and business units.
- Improve code quality, workflows, and infrastructure reliability.
- Maintain documentation for decisions, architecture, and integrations.
Your Talent
- 6+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years in technical leadership managing teams of 6+ developers.
- Proven experience designing and scaling backend systems in cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
- Deep expertise in Kotlin and Java, with hands-on Spring Boot development.
- Strong background in system design, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of middleware, asynchronous communication, and event-driven patterns.
- Experience with complex third-party integrations and APIs.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway.
- Skills in DevOps practices: CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, infrastructure-as-code.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical strategies.
- Experience with frontend architecture, especially Angular, and mobile development basics.
- Nice to have: initial experience with AI/ML platforms.
