Zusammenfassung

CDS, an HPE company, is seeking a Technical Field Engineer to install, configure, and repair IT hardware at customer sites in the greater Hanover / Hamburg / East Westphalia-Lippe Area.

The role requires experience with servers, storage, and networking environments, plus a valid Class B driver's license and fluency in German and English. You will represent CDS on-site, ensuring high-quality service and close collaboration with internal teams.

• Represent our company in front of customers and give the service a face-to-face presence on-site
• Confidently handle installations, configurations, and repairs of IT systems in sensitive and critical business situations
• Maintain a high quality standard, ensuring processes are followed and customer needs are met
• Enjoy regular communication with internal technical departments
• Continuously develop your support skills for IT systems, progressing towards the support of complex IT solutions

Job Description

As a Technical Field Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and repair of IT hardware and devices at our customers’ sites in the greater Hanover / Hamburg / East Westphalia-Lippe Area.

For this position, we are looking for a technician with experience in servers, storage, and networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Represent our company in front of customers and give the service a face-to-face presence on-site
• Confidently handle installations, configurations, and repairs of IT systems in sensitive and critical Business situations
• Maintain a high quality standard, ensuring processes are followed and customer needs are met

Mandatory Skills

• Some initial experience in IT support or as a technician

• An adventurous spirit, happy to be on the road.

A valid driver’s license (Class B) is required

• Readiness for duty and special services & for Ü2 security check.
• Professional German and English level oral and written
