Are you a highly skilled Technical Editor with proven experience in defence documentation standards like S2000M and S1000D ? Your Mission : Precision & Clarity in Defence Logistics

As our Technical Editor, you'll be instrumental in creating and maintaining critical documentation for complex defence systems. Your core responsibilities will include :

• S2000M & S1000D Documentation : Creating and modifying spare parts documentation according to S2000M, DB Spec 2000M, and S1000D standards.
• Illustration Development : Generating and modifying technical illustrations for spare parts documentation, adhering to customer and industry specifications.
• Data Analysis & Compliance : Compiling codification documents and performing thorough observations on spare parts data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Specification Development : Crafting detailed specifications for the creation and testing of spare parts data and images.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Working closely with internal departments, external clients, and subcontractors to ensure seamless documentation processes.
• Quality Assurance : Implementing rigorous quality assurance measures to maintain the highest standards in all deliverables.

What You Bring to the Role :

• Defence Documentation Experience : Solid experience in applying technical documentation standards, particularly within the defence sector.
• S2000M & S1000D Mastery : In-depth knowledge of S2000M, DB Spec 2000M, and S1000D across various revision levels is essential.
• Technical Background : Completed technical vocational training; a master craftsman / technician qualification is highly desirable.
• Language Skills : Fluent German and good English knowledge (both written and spoken).
• Software Proficiency : Confident use of MS Excel ; ideally, experience with MATCONF, APART, AMOSS, ELMAS, and ISODRAW .
• Personal Drive : A team player with a goal-oriented, independent, and reliable working style.
