TE Connectivity in Adelberg is looking for a Technical Documentation Supervisor

to lead a team responsible for generating CAD models and drawings, supporting product engineering, and ensuring the efficiency of documentation processes. This role focuses on managing team workload, driving continuous improvement, and safeguarding key processes within the organization. As the first point of escalation for internal customers, the supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of technical documentation across local and global teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Lead a team of technical documentation specialists responsible for generating initial CAD models and drawings for local and global teams, supporting Product Engineering with document generation, and safeguarding processes within various RDOs.
2. Manage the team’s workload capacity.
3. Develop the team's capabilities towards SME in SolidWorks/CREO, PDM-link, and Drawings.
4. Drive continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team.
5. Serve as the first-level escalation point for internal customers.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

1. Fluent in German and English.
2. 5 to 7 years of experience in an engineering support role, including technical documentation, CAD data, and a good background in quality environments (requiring IATF, ISO9001).
3. Experience with work distribution is a plus.
4. Mastered drafting standards such as GD&T and IATF-QMS.
5. Basic understanding of manufacturing technologies (Assembly, Moulding, Plating, Stamping/Forming, Cable Assembly).
6. Basic understanding of industrial processes (Product release, Change management, and Deviation management).
